Plowing and conduit installation
We use the latest technology to plow cables and/or conduits in a wide variety of urban, rural, and in remote access areas. Advantages with buried fiber deployments are that the cable is immune to wind, ice. It minimizes environmental damage, and is the most economic way of installing cable over a long distance and allows one to obtain installation permits more quickly.
Another big advantage is you have the possibility of ploughing in a micro-duct for future expansion should there be a demand for increased bandwidth, without the need to dig. GD Telecom-Solution also installs fibre optic cable by jetting (cable blown through conduits).
Micro-Trenching
We use one of the most advanced methods in the telecom industry for fibre optic installation. This method is used to reduce the impact on the existing infrastructure. Micro trenching can also reduce overall installation and construction costs.
Cable splicing and testing
We do fibre optic splicing (single and ribbon) and testing for all FTTx networks. We also provide documentation and reports for test results.
Installation of fibre optic by jetting
The advantages of jetting cable is that rod and roping of the conduit is not required. It uses less manpower, and equipment. The forces on the cable are lower, minimizing the number of splices needed and this allows for the installation of extremely long distances. Jetting is one of the best installation techniques when you wish to maximize conduct capacity. It also allows you to work with small and flexible micro-ducts over along distance with near-zero losses.
